In 2008, I married David Snedden, a middle-school science teacher and artist. He is deeply committed to Unitarian Universalism in his own right. David and his two brothers were raised at All Souls Unitarian Church in Tulsa as was his mother, Marilyn.

Over the years, David has served as a Covenant Circle facilitator, RE Teacher, Youth Advisor, and Our Whole Lives facilitator with children, young adults and adults. We have also led Adult RE Classes and a monthly mid-week renewal service together.

David enjoys using his artistic abilities to enhance the visual dimension of our monthly themes in worship and online. The Metro-NY District logo is one of his original designs selected by a vote at the 2009 district meeting.

Asher_GA2015_Ribbons_WaterDropThanksgiving 2011, we welcomed our son, Asher, who is curious, creative and outgoing. He fills our days with discovery and play.

Asher is a preschooler at Temple B’nai Or where he is learning “everything he will need to know in Kindergarten.”

As adults who were raised UU, and as parents, we feel in our bones how important it is to tend this faith for the generations.
